Maestro Tequilero Tequila Anejo Clasico
Maestro Tequilero Tequila Anejo was created by the acknowledged masters of the art of producing Tequila. It was created at the request of true Tequila connoisseurs, who suggested using an ancient and painstaking Tequila production process and only the finest of Mexico's agave plants.
In making this Tequila, we begin with carefully selected agave plants from the family's estates, where they have been lovingly tended as they mature. The chosen agaves are harvested prior to the rainy season, when they have stored up the highest concentration of sugars and the most intense essence of agave flavor.
These special agave are cooked slowly in ancient stone ovens. In this unhurried cooking process, the agave hearts release a concentrated "honey" which is separated and fermented naturally with yeast from the contentrated juices. The resulting mixture is then distilled slowly two times, yielding the very heart of this precious liquid. The Anejo is then aged slowly in selected fire-charred white oak barrels.
The result of this handcrafted process is the masterpiece known as Maestro Tequilero Tequila.
