Tasted 10/31/14 from a Riedel Tequila Glass.
Appearance: Crystal clear amber color.
Aroma: Subtle balanced aroma of cooked agave, oak, and banana.
Initial Taste: Smooth peppery agave and oak, rich and well-aged taste.
Body: Medium-light body with a slight buttery mouthfeel. Nice balanced flavors.
Finish: A smooth, well-balanced medium long finish, with a nice peppery agave kick.
Price: The RRP is $49.99
Presentation: The bottle has an attractive design however, it has a plastic pour spout, which can be a real pain when it locks up.
There is not much information available about this tequila but I found it on sale so thought I’d give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised as it is nice sipping tequila. I wouldn’t pay the RRP of $49.99 but I highly recommend it if you can find it on sale. If the plastic pour spout won’t work properly recap the bottle, turn it upside down and give it a couple of hard shakes.
