I found this Blanco to be surprising in the fact that Cuervo is usually associated with cheap tequila and killer hangovers. This super-premium has elevated my view of the brand. Having said that I still found it to be a "middle of the road" super-premium. The nose is not aggressive with a slight alcohol burn but distinct agave notes. The initial taste is fairly smooth but the flavors don't arrive until you reach the body which draws vanilla, citrus, and pepper out. The finish is smooth and pepper with a slight bitterness. I actually wasn't all that impressed with the bottle presentation though. It's a decent tequila but not one that I am completely fired up over.
