When you've reviewed over 300 tequilas, people just assume that you've tasted everything. There's just so much competition in the tequila market that it's pretty much impossible to taste everything. I'd never even heard of Tequila los Sanchos until I saw this reasonably priced bottle. Most of the juices out of NOM 1459 aren't that well known, but my experience with one of them (Gran Tulum) was positive so I look forward to this one.

Aroma: Loads of cooked agave and white pepper. Light herbal notes as well.
Initial Taste: Nice straightforward agave entry. If you’re searching for Blue Weber…you’ve found him.
Body: A nice and thick/oily body. It coats the mouth and glass very nicely. The peppery and herbal notes compliment the agave nicely. The agave is still the main flavor and it is very tasty.
Finish: A long and spicy finish. Great agave kick and just a hint of smoke. A really nice linger with agave being very much in charge.

If you are an agave lover, this is a tequila that you will really enjoy. It doesn’t have green or earthy notes. It’s just a nice crisp and spicy agave flavor with hints of pepper and herbs. Viva los Sanchos is very good all around and for under $30 this is very nice option.
