Peligroso is one of the first brands I reviewed for this blog with the anejo. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get back to it, but I am finally sitting down and enjoying some "dangerous time" with the Silver.

Price: $40-45/bottle

Aroma: A big time agave nose a nice compliment of citrus and hint of earth.

Initial Taste: A very nice citrus (lemon) and agave combo on the front of the palate.

Body: A nice oily mouth feel. Agave, earth and citrus combine with a nice peppery punch.

Finish: A lengthy finish with agave pepper and a bit of sizzle.

There's a lot to like about this brand. The presentation is cool, the extra 4 proof makes it a little bit different without it being too hot and the flavors are all around solid. This blanco is clean and crisp with a lot of pure agave flavors. With that said, the price point is steep for a blanco at $40+. I'm kind of 50/50 on this one. I like Peligroso Anejo better and for the price, I think that other blancos are a better value, but if you're interested, I'd definitely say that this one is worth a shot.
