My final review of the Tapatio line. I very much enjoyed the blanco and reposado, so I have high hopes for the anejo.
A pale gold anejo...not much darker than the reposado. The aroma is agave, vanilla, caramel and wood...similar to the reposado, but more complex. On subsequent sips, I get more fruit notes coming through as well. Another medium length finish with caramel and wood on the exit.
I really like this anejo, and would recommend the entire Tapatio line. The bottles aren't fancy, but they are inexpensive, well crafted tequilas.
